Right, i've asked this before, but before it was directed at the wheels to get for a certain drop. Now i've got the wheels. 16" x 7" i beleive et45 with tyres 195/45/16. Im looking at a set of spax 50mm suspension kit (shocks and springs) I am only on a budget of around £200. these are £225 with a £50 discount.

I've read that alot of people have different results from different suspension kits. Basically i am wondering, if a drop of 50mm on a set of spax springs and shocks, with the wheels above, would be possible with no scrubbing. I do tend to carry 2 or somtimes 3 people in the back car, but not that often. i have no problem with de bolting the arches either.
any advice is appreciated.

well no, the question im asking is, if it would be possible to drop it 50 with no problems. if its possible to go 50 with no consiquesnces, then i'll go 50 if not then i'll go slightly higher. I have no experience in lowering the car, or or problems which it might cause, what i've got to look out for etc. which is why i am asking for advice from people that have done it.

thats lowered 50mm, does catch slightly on the rears although im running 45 offset and 7.5" alloys. didnt catch at all when I had et45 with 7" alloys, even with 3 in the back.

the spax -50mm kit is a decent kit as well, good balance between handling and ride quality
