was the car runnign at opperating temp. if the cat is not hot then it won't work properly. give it a good hard drive before the retest. use optimax to clean the injectors and valves

as vibrio said, give it a good run before hand to get it nice and warm... also maybe try some redex to give it a clean out!
I had this problem on my MOT as it'd been sat around for 3 months, ran the tank down to 1 bar left, added a bottle of red-ex and gave the engine a good run to get it nice and warm and clean the injectors and so on... took it back for a test and it sailed through
