As above assuming that they are both small block engines with just a
different head the should fit yes or am i being a dick

no, not at all, they are a completely different type of engine.

i'd be inclined to say yes. the block is similar, so it might just work....

Cheers guys looking at them externally they seem the same will pull the 16v one out and have a look for a part no.
