How do connect my laptop to a tv? It has an S-Video bit im assuming thats something to with it?

lol get an s-video lead and plug it into the laptop and then into the s-video on the tv.
if the tv does not have an s-video get a scart plug with a s-video in slot on it.

Assuming the scart supports it, otherwise get an s-video to composite converter.

S-video lead into that, phono from that into a scart adapter and take sound into that too

only cos i used svideo yesterday on this samsung TV and it was blurry as hell
now using VGA cable and its cool!

i wouldnt use the s-video unless you get a very good gold plated converter...As Munchie already stated, image will be blurry
and this converter http://www.maplin.co.uk/Module.aspx?ModuleNo=28733&criteria=s-video%20composite&doy=15m5 is just shoot...i tried it and returned it it the first minute i used it...LOL
even belkin's s-video to composite converter didnt deliver

SVHS looks blurry but if you want to watch films on your TV from your Laptop then its fine. Must be something to do with the resolution but I used to watch filsm on my TV and it was just like watching a DVD.
