Got my phone and broadband with them, on the 10mb line, they used to have a 75gb/month cap (which I exceeded every month and nothing was ever said) which has no been rmoved, so it's win / win!

he said he was thinking about cancelling and quoted the other deals. Said he was fed up of paying 25 for 2mb when people were paying alot cheaper. They then offered him 2mb at a lower price but he said he wanted 10mb, they then produced the 18 a month for life offer.

you may pay cheaper but look at the small print - bulldog and other ADSL providers have caps, plus you have line length problems so you might pay for 8mb but only get 6 or so!
As for NTL, all 2mb customers are getting upgraded to 4mb (upload increased to 400kb/s) over this month - plus there connections are going unlimited, apart from an ideal "soft" cap, which means they might contact you if you download over 100GB a month, but its rare tbh

your not going to be able to blag 10mb....if so, you will be paying 34.99 a month As they know, ADSL suppliers can only support 8mb currently to everyone, unless your in an ADSL2 area and even then 8mb is dependant on your line length. secondly, unlimited connection and ADSL together is rarer than rocking horse shite....so good luck. But you might blag a few months free or some other service

I was talking to a mate in work last week, who said he had 2Mb connection with NTL.
He rang them up quoting the offer from TalkTalk, and told them he was leaving, at which point they offered him 6Mb for less than he was paying for the 2Mb.

didnt realised NTL were offering in between services from there standards - apart from a 512k service for naughty people Though i am really suprised about the deals there offering, usually they are arseholes to get anything out of. Make sure with the 10mb that your getting the same spec as everyone else ie: its unlimited, same uploads etc as they could make up some weird config for the modem that would have a limit etc
