Hi there,
I have a '95 Corsa B CDX 1.4L and (not sure what you call it but the pump that runs for a couple of mins when the car is cold to pump warm air into the thottle body) has started to play up it trys to run and can't get the full speed and then cuts out wailts a sec and then trys again. When this happens the revs drop and rise just like is it had air con and the compressor it engaugeing in and out.
1st of all is this a common problem?
2nd what this pump called
3rd any way of fixing it without replacement?
many thanks for any help you can give

hi, the part your talking about is the secondary air pump that sits to the right of the exhaust manifold. dont think its a common problem, i think replacing it will cure the problem, if it doesnt, check the air connecting pipes, fuses and relays. should cure it.
