Changing a head gasket so need to take timing belt off, but the haynes say's too line up all the notches by turning the crankshaft torx bolt with a torx socket, i dont have any torx sockets so is there another way to do it?
Or am i going to have to buy a socket? If so what size is it?
Cheers

jack the car up at the drivers side so the wheel is off the ground, stick it into 5th gear and turn the wheel clockwise

or buy a torx bit set, which is a good investment anyway.
then jam a breaker bar into the ground, facing the front of the car, and ping the starter motor once, the bolt will come undone....
just make sure you dont start the engine.
you'll struggle to get it undone any other way

Ive turned the wheel so it alignes the mark on the camshaft sprocket to the mark on the camshaft cover.
but how do i line the notch in the crankshaft pulley to the pointer on the rear timing belt cover without moving the notch on the camshaft?
