I've recently removed all the sound deadening out the back of my Corsa. Now, i've been told white spirits will remove the left over glue.. But I only have methylated spirits, will this do the job?

Sounds really wierd but there something that cleanes cookers called "Hob Brite" this stuff normally does the job.

use tar remover or gunk.

I tried using isopropanol, didn't work very well. Buy some white spirts its cheap & does the job well

best thing to use is :-
Thinners
OR
If your going to re paint the floor, red scotch and thinners, cleans the glue and ruffs up the surface for a coat of paint

methanol usually works a treat, works very well, its what i used when i was debaging mine, sometimes hard to get hold of though

household polish like pledge might work that removes sticky crap if left on long enough!
