when im in 1st/2nd/3rd and @ around 1700-2000 revs holding the acclerator steady the car will jerk.
Its like it chucks fuel in and then stops and chucks more in etc, doesn't really do it in 4th or 5th.
It fels like you are tapping the acclorator but i can safely say im not
Any idea's guys?

my old corsa did that. it turned out to be the head gasket. had that checked?

once the head is off, dont you have to replace the gasket?

yes, and headbolts, cambelt, inlet and exhaust gaskets....
probably not the HG. likely to be a sensor. any EM light on?

EM comes on but i think thats to do with the EGR ? (i have decatted my exhaust in march light always come on occasinally but never jerking the car)

had that a couple of months back, put new spark plugs on (no luck), then replaced the HT leads and that did the trick, so may not be as bad as it thinks - no lead - no spark so im guessing that could trigger EM, afraid mine's a bit too old for EM etc...

itys had BRAND new plugs and the leads are a month old maybe 2
