on what car?
on a corsa...easily removed. Just pu some hot water on them and peel them off. then a lot of rubbing with a credit card, white spirit or junk or bug/tar remover.
I removed mine but had these white marks underneath So i have them back on again

Piece of piss.
Heat them up with a hair dryer and peel them back. Get some White spirit or any oddly coloured, weird smelling chemical you have lying around in your garage will do, and clean the remainding mess off. I t-cutting the surface afterwards.

Taking them off is easy, but sometimes you'll be left with some IMO IMO IMO marks underneath...

I think it's a particular problem with the adhesive used on Ry_B strips...
