Hi all. right... the splitter on my mk4 astra has two large cracks in it, and i cant afford to take it to a bodyshop to be plastic welded so i was wondering if any of you knew a basic step by step guide as to how its done, and what tools are needed ?
i have experience of welding, but not plastic welding, so hopefully i should be able to do it myself with a bit of guidance lol.
any Help is appreciated.

Can you weld plastic?
Do you not just fibreglass it and then fill and smooth it?

yeah you can weld it mate. sounds strange i know.
fibreglass & filler wont be strong enough, the rieger splitters are flimsy as fuck... but it makes the front end of my car look as good as it does, so i wont be removing it any time soon lol
