to my pc, im sure it ust to be there b4 but it aint now and i cant get on that stupid second life thing without it, so as title is there anyway i can add it?

Is the computer recent? If it is then you should have no issues with getting 32-bit mode.

Also to claify, we are tlaking abotu the display properties in Windows and not some game settings correct?

My first port of call would be checking out the drivers of the graphics card, making sure you have the latest and greatest installed.
