I know they are the same size and they do fit but need to know if they have any differences with flow rate, resistance etc etc

Im trying to narrow down the overfueling probs

very much doubt it would be the injectors, what pressure reg you running?

any aftermarket ecu things?

could be air flow meter, coolant temp sensor, o2 sensor etc etc

Ive had to replace injectors before due to being buggered and overfueling. Running standard pressure reg.

Already changed CTS, TPS, ICV

Wont be air flow sensor/lambda as was fine on old engine

sounds alot like a coolant temp sensor (just runs the engine on choke)

id recomend trying one of them first, just take one off any vauxhall - pretty such there all the same (astra/vectra etc)

Standard ECU.

yeah changed for brand new CTS

Dont know what else could be... its using a lot of fuel and struggles if you accelerate hard. It will misfire, hold back and then if you let off throttle and then rev again it will clear

the cts could still be faulty, even if it is new...

or it could be wiring, but then the eml would be on.

I dunno what to suggest Rob, was it alright in the last car?

could be a gasket or something, or even the Lambda, but with no EML, it's just guess work, which gets costly

Maybe a stupid question but the EM light does work doesn't it? lol

Maybe see if you can borrow another air flow meter and try it, when i had a dodgy cts it just ran slightly rich, didn't cause it to misfire because of excess fuel.

I know now why the EML doesnt work.

Its blanked off... on the digidash it has a black bit of film instead of the coloured transparant stuff!

Gonna take dash apart at lunch and sort it!

possibly a bad earth yea, or something shorting & knockin quite a bit of stuff out...

be worth going over the wiring tbh, check the IAT sensor, and also if you do have a spare C16 ecu, see if that helps... given how many causes there could be the ecu, be worth checkin it out
