took it out today and it started every now and again just missing a beat, any1 know what could be causing this other than these split second beats it has, its just fine..
any help appreciated
what more can i write????????? the car is missing so im askin what the usual symptoms are for this, i know its leads/plugs etc but i dont no if the c20xe has a well known problem it could be thats all

Mine was doing the soame mate, missing all the time!! But as you said above i just changed the plugs and leads and it ran like new. My Xe seemed to get through quite a few plugs :S

why be a bunch of wankers carl is asking a gen question if you have nothing better to say shut the fuck up!
as for the problem it could be a few things like coil pack, leads, plugs, injector or even a crank sensor if you get stuck mate let us no

I would start with the easy stuff to rule that out!, so plug/plug gap, leads, dizzy cap, rotor arm and coil pack.
Mine used to do the same, occasionally would skip a beat, and i changed all of the above including crank sensor, o2 sensor, i cant exactly tell you what sorted it as it was part of a rebuild but it does not do it now. but it is a process of elimination and if you start iwth the cheaper stuff then you might sort it at a low cost!

they are at the fron of the block behind he pas pump dont use a cheap intermotor sesor use a gen bosch sensor
