i think you can get them cheaper on ebay, but they're not philips

pc world were advertising one for about £60 quid 320gig or something in the paper earlier.

aldi had the same for about £70 the other week.

yeh you can get 500gb iomega drive from dabs for £120 or u can get a 350gb toshiba drive from dabs for £79.99

what do people use teh external drives for? i might need another soon but think ill just stick to internal!?

Easier to move data between computers, doesn't need you to open the case. If neither of that bothers you then go internal.

We had a 320GB in maplin for £89.99.

Offers finished on 24th though...

Got a 160GB for £59.99 now though...

Because my internal spaces are taken up with two drives and as said an External is also handy to take between computers and keep away from any PC damage that might occur.
