I have lived in 2 shared houses
Pros - sharing of the bills, you dont live alone
Cons - You have to consider housemates all the time, You have to live with someone else, if you fall out then theres no easy way out - you either pay up or put up
I've done it twice, once with a friend of mine who no longer is my friend. We shared a small 2 bed terraced - was a pain in the arse tbh
second time was with 2 blokes in a brand new 3 storey townhouse. I had the bottom floor to myself, and the fellas were out most of the time.
All depends on the house, and the people you live with IMO
