Right got a big problem with my gsi. Last night was driving to a mates house, when i went round a roudabout the engine management light came on. O bugger i though. So since my mates house was only 5 minutes away i decided to just carry on and try and get there quickly. Now as i entered my mates street the car cut out. And now it wont start again, it will turn over but wont fire up. Its not lack of fuel as i put 20 quid in yesterday and the console is reading 150 miles left.
Didnt get a chance to look at it last night as it was raining and dark, so just about to get the bus along to check it 
Any ideas?

plugs n leads first clean em up. .. if not make sure ur gettin a good spark. then work your way back... i.e plugs. leads coil. earths etc.

turned out its my immobliser on my toad alarm, thinking its a faulty wire
