As in my other thread i was looking for a 7mm allen key to undo the guide bolts on my brake calipers. Found an old one in my dads tool box that fitted. However it has now snapped off in the bolt
Whats the best way to get it out? as accsess isnt great.
Cheers Gav

Try and shock it loose by hitting around the bolt with a hammer.

cant really hit it very well as the bolts have those rubber boots on. I thinking drilling it is the best bet. So do i just drill into it with the biggest drill bit i can that wont effect the bolt?

If you can take a blow torch to it and heat it up then hit it.

if you have too cut the rubber 'boot' and use a pair of mole grips to undo the bolt
or if it hasn't snapped of cleanly, spray some wd-40 type stuff, get some grips and wiggle left, right,up,down, side to side (think you get the picture by now)
good luck

the bolt itself is fine. I don't think it is even loose. Just want to get it out so i can double check it is still tight.

Good man worked a treat!
Gave it some stick with a screw driver first to loosen it then used the big assed magnet from by fish tank algae remover thing and it popped out a treat
