i bought some brakes off ebay tother week and not sure weather they are standard gsi brakes or 2.0 brakes
they have only got the one piston and the discs are groved and drilled n they weigh a fookin tonne!

disc size is the same. piston is bigger on the 2.0 brakes i think though.

reet o i was just told that they were off a corsa gsi so i could of been either as long as i stop quick i dont care lol

its a 16v sri same engine n stuff just not got leccy windows or power steerin i have 2ltr ones on mine stops from 100 easy

what have u done to ur sri i want to restore mine more than modify it (but needs must lol)!
u got n e idea where to get random parts like the plate which u sit ur battery on cos mine is rusty! lol

battery tray is welded in i think it is on mine anyway. if u can afford it get cambelt and a good service on it i sorted a few patches of rust on mine and tidyed it all up n stuck a gsi kit on with a few other subtle bits just gonna put a 1.6 in and tune the nuts out of it

im after gsi skirts and some speelines then jus wanna make everythin new lol
my dad is a panal beater and painter hes bin doin it for 25 years so hes gonna fully seam weld the car and respray it
y dont u put a 1.8 sport froma astra sport in instead of a 1.6 apparently they are basicaly the same mounitngs n everythin x18xe1 i think it is i was talkin to dave a about it

now wen u say throttle bodies i automaticly think of twin 40/45 is that the same thing
for some reason i think throttle bodies and webbers are diff or am i jus bein stupid!

throttle bodies are just like webbers but with injectors so its all still run off an ecu
