Wherever I watch video clips on sites like youtube.com or use windows media player the sound skips around alot 
If I use VLC then it plays fine 
I have just tried to download the newest divx update and instal that and it still does the same thing.
Any ideas?

i used to have this problem. I think its the amount of system resources that are used and the way in which it decodes. VLC is much better imo than wmp
