In my 20xe corsa I have a brown/white wire cut out of the ecu loom and spliced into the car loom, Anyone know what this paticular one is for as I have cut it out of the car loom during a loom pruneing session and now im not sure its needed as car is running fine without it, ECU light still working on ignition and goes off when you start it, could it be dianostic related?

ok just looked on topbuzz and it looks the diagnotic trace form the ecu, im sure however iv traced this back and loops bac over along the car loom to the join in the loom in the passenger footwell?
