Recently upgraded to a 108 Mbps card to get the WLAN a bit quicker but I got some strange results when comparing signal strength in Netstumbler.

Using the original DWL 650+ (22 Mbps) I normally see around 6-7 access points.

DWL G650 (54 Mbps) I saw only one - my own

DWL G650M (108 Mbps) I was back up to 7 but all weak signal - yellow or at best light green.

They were mostly dark green with the slower card. Summary, if you want to stumble, use old stuff

Having experian experianced the "turbo" stuff, I dont really like it. Im sticking to the known techonologies until there is a major upgrade!
