Because i cant stand the new internet explorer , and i like the tabs feature and add blocker plus many other things that have been customised.

But IE has tabs?
I obviously haven't seen the light yet.
I'll install Firefox tonight and give an 'honest' verdict. Maybe I might change Doubt it, i'm a microsoft fan boy.

Firefox WILL render complicated pages faster, handles animated gif's far better than IE7, and also conforms better to CSS & other standards

The problem probably isn't with Firefox. It's probably the website fucking stuff up.

Not really........anyone building websites knows you design it in Firefox then hack it up to work with IE........firefox handles the web far better....

That's what I was getting at in a roundabout sort of way. I never take Firefox into consideration when I make a website
...if you're not gonna use IE like me, then my site doesn't want your custom
Altho, when I view the stats, i'd say 30% of visitors use Firefox. Still.....fuck 'em

I use firefox, I don't use IE
end of
If a site is only designed to RUN on IE, it does not follow a standard web-type. If it was a true website, it would run on anything regardless and not require any special coding.

I've just had it where you get some kind of temporary problem and the page doesn't render properly. I always put it down to the site because if you hit re-load the page usually works.
I use Firefox, can't stand IE's interface. loafofbrett, you should probably try Firefox out before you blindly say it's shit because somone has told you so on a forum.

...and you should read what I said before you "make statements up" that i haven't said
When did I say some guy on a forum told me it was shit? In fact, please point out where I said it was "shit", can't see where it was?
If you read above, you'll see I said i'm gonna give it a shot.
Thanks for the help, eh

I have given firefox a shot, always willing to try whatever software.
Really didn't like it though.
My alternative to IE is Opera, IE is about 90% of the time though.

FF though as loads of custom stuff you can adapt to your own thing like a torrent site search bar etc.
