I know there are a few corsa fanboys that wont appreciate this post but I really wondered which one is better?
I have always wanted a saxo vtr but didn't know if the sport would be better? I opted for both cars because they are both cheap to insure and good on fuel. I don't want either a 1.6 corsa sport or VTS.

I drive a corsa but personally i would go for a vtr over a 1.4 corsa coz i think it looks better and will be slightly quicker, could be wrong tho

I drove a VTR today, loved it, much better than my corsa, but its a shitheap. Id still rather a black 1.4 Sport though, theres loads of saxos up here, and fuck all corsas, must be 7:1. Hence id rather a nice corsa, fuck all nice ones here.

On the comfiness, the VTR i drove today is FAR more comfortable than my corsa.
Edit: Only problem I found is the pedals are quite close together.

I still love my old Corsa, see it most days.
All this talk of Saxos being unreliable as well, Ive not had anything go wrong with mine yet, it seems a very solid car,
You do get a bit of an "Image" with one though, other people tend to drive quite close and egg you on to race
Its not an uncomfortable car, the GSi seats I had in my corsa were lovely
:EDIT: Yes I thought Id never get used to it, only took me a few miles to get used to it though

Isnt that close if you get a facelift saxo because they have a 100 brake and 0-60 in 9 secs. Ive had a corsa 1.4 sport and my bro has a saxo VTR, sport had no chance against his VTR, Plus VTR's looks the mutts nuts

i havnt drove a saxo but a few of my mates have had them and nothing but bother with them also i was in car that crashed into my mates saxo a few years back and it totally demolished it just like crushing a can of pop with you hand.
i do like the look of the saxo vtr - vts but reliability wise no thanks.
personally if i was to go from my corsa to another car it would have to be the clio sport even tho they are french lol

Ive had no trouble with mine and a few of my mates have them, its normally trivial stuff that goes wrong like little farty conectors or linkages, the engines are very strong
thats mine:
Also look at Rob B `s garage

there pretty good, despite what people say, as matt said its usually just niggly little things that go, but things like that happen with every car, just keep an eye out for a cleanish one, ive had mine since november, and all its asked of me is a good servive, and a couple of little niggly things that kind of annoyed me, but where easily fixed.
also they can handle like a go kart
oh and personally i think the phase 1 looks better, the phase 2 looks a bit girly
