really struggling to find a head for my c14se,i've posted in "wanted section a couple times and i'm always searching on ebay but no luck.anyone know of any other heads that will fit straight on?e.g.c16se?

Also remember mk3 astras, and nova sri's also had the same engine.

yeah,cheers mate!i'm still really struggling,i went to my local scrappy the other day and he had an astra with a c14se but he wanted £60 for the head,and i had to remove it myself with no guarantee of it being any good!lol.i rang up a vauxhall specialist in the back of TV and they can have a skimmed/cleaned/pressure tested/valves reseated one at my door for £160.seems to be the best option at mo.would u say its worth looking out for a ported and polished one vaux lad?

sorry to pester u vaux lad,but as u seem to be pretty good on this stuff,how much do u recommened exhaust manifolds on the little 8valvers?got a cat back at the mo but im goin to sell it and put back to standard.i understand i would have to modify the existing standard exhaust to make the performance manifold fit.thanks.
