have got a front brace, it handles pretty well now (after fitting two new ball joints) but one of my front springs has a coil missing (snapped off) so im having a set of adjustable koni's and maybe a set of gaz rear adjustable dampers of dave a.

have you got the spax rsx? i had them on my nova srt40 and my corsa sport, loved them. am thinking of uprating the bushes on mine using polly bushes. mite get a rear brace and uprated front roll bar.

you dont have to drill any hole mate, they fit onto your top mounts where the two bolts are that fix the suspension strut to the strut.
they do make abit of a difference, i wripped the front wheel of my gsi in the snow and the strut brace saved the suspension and the strut.

tbh, i would spend money on better suspension first rahter than bothering with new bushes, ARB's and strut braces etc etc.
Get yourself some bilstein fixed rate stuff or gaz coilovers and see how it handles from there

60mm drop is too much for handling improvement.

why?
lower center of gravity = less body roll = sharper turning

will it be best then to leave it at 40mm and just up-grade the shocks?

only if they are straight across. these fancy shinny ones you see doing the ebay circuits that are sort of u shaped are absolutely useless apart from abit of underbonnet bling if that floats your boat

40mm is pointless! looks half done and is nowhere near as good at handling!
