I've ordered a new sump gasket for my 1.6 and they have sent me a rubber. Is this the right one because it looks like if you tighten it, the rubber bits between the holes will just bend to one side and not make a seal.
Any help would be grateful

sure theyve not sent you a rocker gasket??

sump gasked should be cork as oil will deteriorate rubber

You can get rubber type sump gaskets

mines rubber/plastic on the NE with metal dish etc.
