when i bought my pc windows xp was already insalled on it. i want to format the hard drive to get rid of all the shit thats on it and start from new. however if i format the hard drive will this remove xp as well? if so does that mean i would need to go out and buy new software? any help would be much appreciated as im not really clued up with computers, cheers folks

yes if you format the harddrive you will remove every thing thats on there at the min windows xp included.

were did you buy the pc from did you not get windows with it?
