I have had a look for related searches but cant find anything!
Basically its like stirring a pot of soup cant get into first or second without lifting up the lift up reverse! All other gears ok, does anyone know wat part of the linkage it could be and how to adjust it, the linkage is only a year old!
Cheers, Mike

Go under the car and find where the linkage goes into the engine bay, there will be a 13mm bolt there that needs to be slackened off. Now give the gear lever a wiggle from side to side to slacken things off.
Take the leather gaiter off round the gear stick and you'll see a small hole on the left in the plastic mold. Stick a drill bit in there to hold it still.
On the top of the gear box there in a selector box. You'll either have a plastic plunger with a spring on it or a plastic cap that you need to pull out and push a drill bit through.
You'll need to wiggle the selector for the plunger to fit into a little hole on the inside. You'll know when you have found it.
When you have done all that, tighten up that 13mm bolt and remove all the drill bits and go for a little test drive.
