Found a puddle of gearbox oil (well i asume its red oil) its gathered in a indent of the gear box next to were my selector rod/piston goes in and out and now my gear box has become clunky you have to ease it out of gear and back in, is this cause theres a leak how do i check the oil level?

Car on level ground, remove the drain plug which is by the driveshaft input (to the back of it) and fill with gearbox oil until it comes out of the hole. Put bung back in.

tighten up the selector bolts and the 17/19mm bolt with the black thing on top of it

no you cant see it leaking but there is a puddle there looks pretty fresh as well, and now is clunking in and out of gear you have to ease it ni and out as if it doesnt want to go

top up oil through the bolt on top and see if it helps.

then look for leak if it sorts it.

any body got a pik of bolt sorry there two iirc and is it any perticular level or just till it spills out?

the fill up bolt just has a plastic black bit on it.

and do i need to take that bolt out or just fill it up through the top of it as it has a hole through the middle?
