Hey I tried pinning it other day as its come loose underneath and could not get the bloody pin in the gearbox hole, tried for ages moving it around and diff positions etc,
also am i doing it right:?
undo bolt
pin gearbox
pin gearnob in middle
tighten up
take pin out?

You do have to move the selector arround. Leave it bolted up and get a mate to move the gear stic and you apply preassure to the pin in the gearbox end. when it slots in shout to your mate to stop.
Then undo underneath and put a drill bit through the hole in the gear stick bit.

drill bit that goes in the gear box is 4.5mm diamiter, but i have found that with the gearbox fittet to my X14XE the plug you pull out has a little spring on it, so you can just push that plug into the box and then pin the gear leaver then tighten up the gear linkage, worked a treat
