I need some help on how I can improve my wireless signal at home. At the moment we have one of those BT Homehub's downstairs in my Dad's office, which is connected to our PC and my Dad's laptop.

Then up in my room is my Xbox 360 which I connect to the homehub using the Xbox wireless adaptor. I've never had a good connection and recently I've struggled just to get a connection. I've just bought a new computer for my room so really want to improve the signal, a mate has mentioned something about a 'booster'?

Can anyone give me any advice on what I should be looking at please? I'm just getting more and more confused with expanders, routers, boosters and so on!

Any help appreciated, thanks.
