you will need to log into your router and go into an option normally named something like status it should then give you a list of all the information that the router has.
(Ps if its the pc on the internet you are trying to get the information from it should be in the little two computer icon in the task bar right hand click then status then click on support then detail.

look on bottom of router and look for the default ip user name and password if not go on internet and search ur router model!
log into the router! dont change anything as ur internet may stop wrking if u change the wrong thing! just go to wireless settings or lan settings and check it is set to give out an IP automaticly or if u want to set the IP giv it an IP range so only computers within that IP range can connect

you need to find the default gateway
start->run->cmd->ipconfig
then it will show the defualt gateway go to ie and type http://"default gateway"
usually either 192.168.0.1 or 192.168.1.1

Hey Dan - sorry I didnt U2U you back.
Its other settings like DNS that I cant find, unless its assigned automatically? Basically, im running a BT Voyage ADSL Router, hard wired and I have a BT Voyager 2500 wireless router and I want to the info from my BT Voyager wired modem into my wireless modem so I can just straight swap them. Thats if the Netgear USB2 Network Adapter will be alright with my BT wireless modem?

All you need is the username and password for the ISP.
The router will get the rest of the settings automatically.
