is it possible to output sound from the usb ports?? for surround sound etc etc (see bose post lol )

I output mine through the TV, so PS3 to TV, TV to hi-fi. Seems to work well enough.

I like the sound of the bose compainion 5 speaker system, and as our room is tiny, i want some small speakers and the sub like they come with, and plug them into either the tv or ps3 :/
