CDR500 has to go, skips like crazy
All I need is:
Looks nice, none of this crap that lights up like a christmas tree
Plays MP3 CD's
Can have an Ipod lead attatchment that fits somewhere through the rear (don't want a cable sticking out the front all the time)
Had a fairly nice looking pioneer one before, but I've no idea how it compares to other makes/models
Cheers

you only really need to worry about the wattage if your into your LOUD music.
mines like 4x25 with a couple of 6x9's does me fine.
But cars getting stripped soon so im going to get a better wattage headunit and some large wattage front speakers

That seems alright actually, and the fitting is normally £30? So the 1/2 price makes it £15?
£145 fitted with a £10 voucher back seems alright, I'll probably need a lead or something to change to Alpine fitment anyway & there about a tenner?

Or is the £10 voucher for the fitting?
(Just noticed it's normally £19.99)

The fitting is half-price, and is usually £39.99, so now its £19.99.
You should get the lead, but all it actually does is swap the permanent and switched live connections around, which you are able to do using the Alpine loom.
So total is £150, with a £10 voucher back to spend on a separate transaction between the 13th Nov and 2nd Dec IIRC.
If you want to fit it yourself, just buy the unit for £130 instore, and thats it.

You'll need an extra adaptor/cable if you want your steering wheel controls to work matt

thats true, you are looking at around £35 for the adaptor.
Although, I'm not sure if that Alpine unit supports steering wheel controls. I will find out for you now.

Buy one of the Alpine full-speed head units. I have just bought one for the Corsa and they are amazing.
The model I bought was £295, but you can get them cheaper than that!
Sextons Southampton would be able to sort you out the lead for the steering wheel. Give them a call and speak to Ed!
