Ill say this now, anyone who wishes to use TalkTalk for their free Broadband, DONT.
I have had it with them. Sub standard slow shite internet that to use you have to spend 20 minutes connecting an hour to use.
Never have I used the reset button sooo much on my router.
The internet disconnects on a daily basis. Its slow as fuck. It says its connected and actually disconnected.
This is the speed of our 8MB connection:
Fed up to the back teeth of it, I need some advice on how to get out of it? Contract loophole? Anything?
I do not want to phone their technical support as it goes something like this *in heavy accent* "Sir, you need to turn your computer off and on again, and restart your router, then connection will work". For 20 mins, if you r acutally lucky to connect.
Help me please

my experience with BT is that if you spend enough time ringing up and shouting at people and complaining they eventually let you out of the contract,
worked for me
now im very happy with virginmedia

worked for me
i found that you start of with the bottom of the food chain in india, work your way up to the manager of that call centre, then end up in the uk, then keep going, eventually you will get someone who just decides that they'll cancel it
