Tonight I thought I had a flat tyre on the way home.
Put air in and it didn't work.
Then changed to the spare wheel.
When I got home, the one I had taken off is well worn on the inside, so worn it looks like the inside has been slashed and all the metal mesh inside the tyre was sticking out. A real mess!!
Checked the other side and this is the same.
The tread on the outer side seemed fine, but the inside is well worn.
What could have caused that?!

But I haven't noticed any pulling, only today before I realised I had a flat tyre

front tyre?
i know with my fk coilovers the spring adjuster would catch the tyre and start to make a groove and make a burning rubber smell, had to adjust the camber and ride height

There is a groove on the inside of the tyre, but its completely standard suspension

Did a search on Google and found these -
Looking from the front of the car looking at the wheels. Camber is the angle that the vertical axis of the wheel makes with the road surface. Negative camber is when the top of the wheel leans into the centre of the car. Positive camber is when the top of the wheel leans out. On an MGF camber should be ±0.5 degree (±30 minutes).
Camber is the inward or outward tilt of the wheel at the top, measured in degrees from true vertical. Proper camber angle provides directional control stability by placing maximum tire tread in contact with the road surface under all driving conditions. Camber is adjustable on most domestic cars and light trucks. Positive camber is an outward tilt of the wheel and Negative camber is an inward tilt of the wheel. Camber is a directional control angle. Unequal camber causes the vehicle to pull toward the side with the most positive(outward) camber. Camber can be used offset road crown on most short/long arm suspensions. Improper camber settings can cause uneven tire wear and wheel bearing wear.

It isn't a hard I don't think but you will need to take it to a good mechanic/garage to get it adjusted.

if its standard suspension and not lowered at all it can only be that the front wheel alignment is out like ian said. but i dont think it would be tyre pressure related as, if the tyres are under inflated it will wear on the inner and outer edges. get ur tracking re aligned.

Its just wheel alignment, plus of course you'll need new tyres.
