hi guys,
car failed MOT on emissions last week.
these are the stats

COcor 2.92
Lambda 0.988
CO 2.92
CO2 12.3
HC 244
02 1.90

ive put my standard air box on now but not sure if thats gonna make any difference coz its only got one sensor on it

any of you got any ideas??

Coolant Temp Sensor.

Give it a thrashing before you take it and make sure they get straight onto the emissions before anything else.

is that the one just under the standard cold air feed pipe and next to the pulley cover??

do you reckon its this plug failing the emissions for def???

how much are they??

There only cheap. About a tenner from Vaux. They seem to do the trick most of the time.

As I said, they seem to do the trick most of the time.

Nope. Take plug off, unscrew, fit new one. Make sure no airlocks in coolant and see how that does.

may get a lambda sensor at the same time i think just to be on the safe side of things
