Guess Christmas day is different in my family.

Christmas day usually = Get up... all celebrate the day, maybe open a present or two (usually the main present)... Then all get ready and go drive out to a pub, where the whole family meets up and has a few drinks talking about their year etc.

Then come home about lunch time, start getting the drinks out, watch a bit of tv, relax... Eat a big dinner! Have a few christmas crackers. A bit more drink / beer.

Then watch Queen's speech, usually have some crap on in the background. Open all the presents.

sometimes watch some crap film if it's on or watch a dvd (that usually someone's got, like a comedy stand up or something)...

Then when it's dark, go for a walk as a family looking at the christmas lights all around the village.

Get back, have a drink or two, watch another dvd (dad usually falls asleep drunk)

then we go to bed.

No where in that does it feature running off and hiding on my own in a room with a xbox or ps3.

Your excused if you actually got a xbox 360 or ps3 as your present... but even then you probably set it up with the family just to show them how amazing it is

This idea of them all disapearing to play xbox on christmas day reminds me of that picture of gizmo, sitting in his room, infront of a pc on his own, with peanuts, sweets and supplies for a good day locked away from civilisation (picture named xmas.jpg).
