will ballasts from a 6000K kit work on a 4000K kit?

yep aslong as the connectors on the bulbs and the ballasts are the same

yea they would be, i got the 6000K ones but one doesnt work and if i have to buy another set i might get the 4000K (pure white light) the 6000K are really... shall i say.. blue!

6000k are white, 8000k are blue
4300k are sort of yellowish

its 6000k's in the pic and they never looked blue, even the pic where they're glinting.

Chris yours are obviously different to all the other peeps running 6000K's here, myself included . Unless you have projector lenses which do affect the bulbs light differently and you generally run a lower bulb to get the desired effects.

That explains the blue then but 6000k are white , it's your lenses focusing the light and making it look more blue. You should use 4300K bulbs to get the desired effect

think so, but they will never be as bright as a hid light
