OK, so on old computer I have Microsoft Money installed (XP Home) and 2 different accoutns on ther elike.
I ahve installed the exact same copy of software onto my new laptop (Vista Home premium) but i cant copy the backups etc onto there 
Keeps tryign to convert the files and then says it cant xos i dont have access... any ideas?? Its driving me crazy

where are you copying them too, can you create a text file in the same location?

copied everythign into the same place as it was before, and to wher eit wants it to be

Yeah but then Money wont allow me to save ther eor jus gives me a rea donyl problem :S

Try taking ownership of the folders you've copied over:
