I'm currently running a F13 gearbox with a 4.5 cwp and a quaife ATB 40% lsd on my 130+bhp rally car. If I was to step up to a tighter diff with say 70-90 rating in the same gearbox, would it put more pressure on the gear kit, and open a whole can of other problems?
My budget is unlikely to afford a Straight Cut quaife gearkit, which is the way I'd like to go, but i was wondering if I could do it this way.
Any advice appreciated
