Does wiring make a huge difference to overall sound quality? IE: will I notice a huge difference if i replaced the standard speaker wire with some new good stuff?
And how can I tell if my wires are the right way round on my 6x9's? is there a way to tell if they're the right way round??
Cheers

what do you mean wires wrong way round, if you mean the standad cables then they will work regardless of which side is fitted to which wire
worth getting proper speaker wire if you have an amp if not sort of defeats having it as it comes through normal wire to begin with

I meant the green and brown wires connecting to the speaker...
Is there a way to tell which connector on the speaker each wire connects to?

take your stereo out and see which colour wire goes to speaker - and which goes to speaker + on the back of your head unit. then just copy it to the speakers in the back
But if i remember right the wires with the black stripe are -

Okay, i just been trying this out and the quality is (to me and my brother) the same whichever way you put it. Does anyone know which way the wires are supposed to go?
Or does anyone know what wire is what? (say.. green and white = pos white = neg for example) and which connector is positive on the 6x9's... the big or the small?
lol, this is doin my head in!

Hope this is correct!
Just found this from another thread, is this right!?
