i think you are...lol....thing is the strut brace sits on top of the rear shock....and the is not accessible with a spanner.....deep socket will work...but you need to hold the tip to stop it turning....but you cant hold the tip if im using a socket :S but theres no room to put the gun onto it...beause the plastic trim is in the way

undo the plastics ans slide to the middle of the strut brace and get an air gun on.
or use a deep spanner like shown above and a normal spanner, does work but very fiddly and takes ages

i used a deep ring spanner and an adjustable spanner for the inside bit that you need to hold. worked fine

Lol good way of testing
I thought the corsa had a pretty sturdy shell anyway. How many times did you try it? Might have just been an oily bit

sounding like you've fitted an omp one imo they make no difference. handling difference you can put down to different road conditions (wet, damp, cold oily etc ...)

any rear strut brace that get bolted down by the rear suspension top mount's are shit and dont do anything..

youwant one that you bolt or weld to the side of the rear turret not the top

I was under the impression that the rear strut brace held the struts to stop flex?

So if your rear strurs are held solid, then in theory your car should handle better?

Its stiffening the shell up?

I know i'm not describing what i mean very well, but i know what i mean.

lol.
