Think I'll be heading back to Nokia this time round after a few years in the wilderness
Out of interest does anyone know of a nice looking nokia handset that I can sync with outlook and get my emails etc. whilst out and about like my Blackberry?

That's not proof of quality, that's proof that people buy them because they're incapable of using a phone which isn't designed for people like my mum.

Last few years I think SE had the edge, then the N73 and N95 etc came around and they were right back up there, the N82, N95 and N93 piss on SE's latest offerings tbh

in the days of 5110's and 3310's I personally thought build quality wise nokia were shit cos they always seemed to have some problem. But now they seem much higher quality than anything else on the market. I've only bought one phone other than nokias in the past few years and that was a moto v3i - it was cack and i managed to destroy it in the fryers in work lol. N95 is an awesome phone.

i have mainly had nokias all my life, and to be fair they are the most robust phones, the new nseries phones are packed to the gunnels with specs, and my n93 is a cracking phone even if it is a little on teh large side. id say i might look into gettin an n95 next...

The symbian S60 platform that the Nokia N and E series both run on
www.s60.com
There 100,000 reasons on there why they are better than any sony ericsson phone.
THe P900/P910i were amazing phones, but as you guessed ran on a symbian platform too.... so essentially just like the nokias. Add your own programmes create your own themes etc etc Tottally customisable SP device.
i miss my E90

My old k750i was regularly bounced off walls, the floor, random people's feet never broke tho
