if its anything like my n95 you will be p*ssed with battery while your giving it hammer playing around for 1st few days.
What I have noticed, as strange as it may be, im still faffing, but after 3 - 4 full recharges its last a lot longer then the 1st time I charged it
Think you can download messenger from the ms site (Was already on mine,but im with three)

My 8gb version alsts just over 3 days, the N95 8Gb has a new different battery from the old N95.

Get it from e-messenger.net can go on yahoo and aol on it too. Also buy the clear crystal protective case on ebay for bout 4quid. Its quite good!

Another quick question. In standby mode its displaying the time and date but its doing it landscape?
How can I change it to portrait?

As I never make video calls should I turn 3g off?
Will it affect anything? I assume I set it to just use GSM only

Internet speed and coverage will be affected, the later entirely dependant on your networks 3g/2g coverage. For e.g Orange has far better 3g coverage round my area than 2g! So my n80 is always on umts so i can actualy make a call in my house

I'm still fiddling with my N95 8gb now after nearly 2 weeks, i haven't kept up wit hphones and new ones out for years so its a bit daunting for me, I don't understand all this symbian and firmware stuff etc, i feel my phone wont be used to its full advantage :/
