Hey folks, wonder if you've ever heard of this...

Testing my brake lights against the old window today when I realised that I have to depress them a little further, say 2cm for the lights to kick in. I should point out that in these 2cm the brakes do acutally kick in, but as I say, the lights don't. It really wouldn't bother me if I knew it wasn't going to cause an MOT failure. Think it would? And is this another auto electrician job?

I fail to see how it is an MOT failure.

They test the lights, they test the brakes. No where to the best of my knowledge does it state a tollerance between the 2.
