don't want nor can I afford the best brands.. just want a nice 26" screen and I've seen these fairly cheap...
are they likely to break in 10 days of buying etc?

With LCDs you get what you pay for. Check the contrast ratio and connectivity on the back, the more the merrier in both cases!

they do a 26" bush hd ready screen for just over £200 aswell.. they cant be too bad

My 15" lcd is made by acoustic solutions was £100 from argos and has been fine.
Hd ready but its hd to dvi so you need to check this on the one your looking at.
1080i/720p

I will be connecting both my pc and games consoles/sky up to it so il get a dvi - hdmi cable for the pc anyway

Dont know what their tv's are like, I had a 5.1 surround sound set from them years back though, fairly good, really nice sounding and quite good bass.. trouble is the remote packed up for no reason one day so couldnt do much with it after that.. I think it was a known issue tho.

Tvs are just other makes with the Acoustic Solutions badges over them.
I emailed AS they said the tellys were nothing to do with them and was to do with argoose.
The DVI port does not carry sound so you need a phono jack if you are going to run a games console on them.

hospital has a great acoustic solutions tv in 26" i think it is, quality looking set
