i have some 17" wolfrace zens 205,40,r17 i got some lowering springs for it and fitted them. wernt sure what mm they are but the fronts fit mint on standard shocks but the backs make my tyres scrub on the arch.ive taken the plastic arch back so thats ok but it scrapes higher up in the arch where it starts curving. could someone help me cuz its costing me abit in tyres lol

Any idea what the offset of the wheels is. should be stamped into the wheel somewhere.
If its along way from et49 (prefered offest for corsas) (assuming its a corsa b ) that may be your problem

may still be able to get away with it. Although it will be a push seeing as they are 17's as well. The metal lip can be flared out a certain amount and the plastic can be put back on with sealent rather then bolts to give you a little more room.

i tried that the plastic arches are held on with clips and small self tappers which make it flat behind the arch, and ive flared out the arches as much as i can

sounds like a combination of the huge wheels slightly wrong offset and being a little too low...
either get hold of some bigger rear springs or some et49 wheels

yeah, they would help...personally i'd compromise between raising it a little and stiffening the dampers, that way it wouldn't be such a choppy ride, but after all at the end of the day it's your car, your choice and your body that will take the punishment!!
