i have a 1.4 spi corsa which is mint, but is slow.
i also have another corsa with a 1.4 sri (mpi) engine which i am using for parts as the engine is sh*t. it has low compression on all cylinders, only firing on three of four,
if the head is ok,
would i be able to use the head, loom and ecu, on my current spi block??
i presume i would nead to skim the head for compression issues...

From what i can remember you'd need the fuel rail etc but you will need the fuel pump too i think.

ive got everything, and am allready running an mpi fuel pump anyway.
i've got the whole sri engine but i think the bottom end is shite, so was wondering if i could swap the head onto my spi bottom end.

Yeah it works fine.
But the spi block may not have a bolt hole for the crank sensor bracket.
